October is Finally Here!
It's finally here! October 1st is finally here! That means that our favorite holiday, Halloween, is just around the corner. For us, the Boo Crew, it's like Christmas for 31 days. There are so many good Horror movies to revisit or watch for the first time. There's a certain cool crisp in the air that signifies that fall has finally arrived (well, okay not for us here in Los Angeles). There's pumpkin spiced everything, if you're into that sort of thing. But one of the best "treats" during the Halloween season? The Haunts.
It's no secret that Los Angeles is the Halloween Haunt capital of the world. There are so many cool haunts ranging from professional theme parks such as Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland, Universal Horror Nights at Universal Studios, Knott's Scary Farm, and Dark Harbor at the Queen Mary. On another more affordable level (or free of charge) there are great local haunts such as 'Reign of Terror' to much more smaller "made at home" haunts such as the Rotten Apple House, Boney Island or The Backwoods.
Once upon a time it was all about your friend's halloween parties or if you were lucky, you'd get to party with playmates at the Playboy mansion on halloween night. Now, it's all about the haunts and events around Southern California throughout the month of October. Stay tuned as we update you on all the local haunts and happenings!
(And yes, we can't wait to see Jamie Lee Curtis in the forthcoming 2018 Halloween sequel!)
